Gathering the Homebrew Goods

Hey Rob-

Could you bring over your homebrew kit or could I come by and look at it? I don't think I need to see the tubs...they seem like standard 6 or sometimes 8gal food grade. I was curious about the bottle brush and some other things and need to get the manufacturing companies info so I can find distributors.

I can't get you ingredients until we have a business. You'll have to find them on the homebrew market if they are available there. Are you and Nick still planning on making a new kit?

  1. What type of materials are you looking for specifically?

Most of the items, such as brushes, don't have manufacturing names on them. The bottle capper may be the exception, but I don't believe so.

Are you looking at it from a homebrewing supply store front? If so, I can help out with which items I find useful or superior.

A basic homebrew kit will vary depending on which store you get it at, and what the "theory" of homebrewing is that that store subscribes to. There are many ways the homebrewing process can vary, and there isn't just one correct way. It is because of this that there are kit difference.

Let me know, I love talking about my homebrew stuff.

  2. Yup, you'll need to be the resident expert on what we carry. We should work together to come up with a list of what the store will carry. The good thing is we should be able to cut into (carefully) our manufacturing product or buy bulk and split to create our own retail products.

Want to do a field trip to Victor's?
