Have you heard of this?
I was looking through the business directory and found a brewery called Volcano Brewery in Rio Rancho. I don't think they are still there, but I'll look into it a bit more.
Hmmmm. Looks like the building is now the Center for Hands on Learning.
Kraus Brewing Services, I called them and left a message asking what they offered.
Pinon Brewing, ABQ Journal piece 250 gallon a month "nanobrewery"
Trinity Beverage Company, I cant find any info on them
Rough Rider Brewing Co., as a blog with only two posts
Rio Grande and Cabezon, a rather grim look at brewing in NM Business (out of business)
Turtle Mountain: I didn't know how many different kinds of brews they have!
Southwest: out of business
db kelly de vargas inc, db brewery: Does anyone know about this? Is this Kelly's? All I found is this profile.

Some of the beers listed for Turtle Mountain are seasonal, but I've never had a beer from them I didn't like. You should try their Red Rye.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about the Kelly de Vargas stuff, are their headquarters maybe on Academy? Odd.
As far as I can tell db kelly de vargas inc is Kelly's. They are both owned by Dennis Bonfontine (the db in db kelly de vargas) but the address on academy is a house in Tanoan so that is probably his home. The business was started in 1996 and I'm not sure when Kelly's started, I thought they had been around longer than that. Dennis B. bought the current building and renovated it in 2000. So maybe when he did that he started a new business called "Kelly's" and the listing you found is just his old original business registered out of his home.
